Ubiquitin domain of Raf serine/threonine kinases. The Raf serine/threonine kinases are composed of three conserved regions, CR1, CR2 and CR3. CR1 has two Ras binding domains (RBD and CRD), CR2 is a serine/threonine rich domain and CR3 is the catalytic kinase domain. The RBD of Raf is structurally similar to ubiquitin with little of no sequence similarity.The Raf signalling pathway plays an important role in the proliferation and survival of tumor cells.
