  Domain Name: UBX
UBX (ubiquitin regulatory X) domain. The UBX (ubiquitin regulatory X) domain has a beta-grasp fold that is structurally quite similar to ubiquitin although UBX lacks the c-terminal double glycine motif and is thus unlikely to be conjugated to other proteins. Most UBX-containing proteins including p47, FAF1, and SAKS1 (Y33K) also contain a UBA (ubiquitin-associated) domain and are thought to serve as adaptor molecules that shuttle proteins to the proteasome for degradation.
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Total Mutations Found: 0
Total Disease Mutations Found: 0
This domain occurred 9 times on human genes (15 proteins).

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
