  Domain Name: DGCR6
DiGeorge syndrome critical region 6 (DGCR6) protein. This family contains DiGeorge syndrome critical region 6 (DGCR6) proteins (approximately 200 residues long) of a number of vertebrates. DGCR6 is a candidate for involvement in the DiGeorge syndrome pathology by playing a role in neural crest cell migration into the third and fourth pharyngeal pouches, the structures from which derive the organs affected in DiGeorge syndrome. Also found in this family is the Drosophila melanogaster gonadal protein gdl.
No pairwise interactions found for the domain DGCR6

Total Mutations Found: 4
Total Disease Mutations Found: 0
This domain occurred 2 times on human genes (2 proteins).

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
