  Domain Name: Ig5_Contactin-1
Fifth Ig domain of contactin-1. Ig5_Contactin-1: fifth Ig domain of the neural cell adhesion molecule contactin-1. Contactins are comprised of six Ig domains followed by four fibronectin type III (FnIII) domains anchored to the membrane by glycosylphosphatidylinositol. Contactin-1 is differentially expressed in tumor tissues and may through a RhoA mechanism, facilitate invasion and metastasis of human lung adenocarcinoma.
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Total Mutations Found: 13
Total Disease Mutations Found: 1
This domain occurred 45 times on human genes (86 proteins).

GAZE PALSY, FAMILIAL HORIZONTAL, WITH PROGRESSIVE SCOLIOSIS

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
