  Domain Name: OSR1_C
Oxidative-stress-responsive kinase 1 C terminal. This domain family is found in eukaryotes, and is approximately 40 amino acids in length. The family is found in association with pfam00069. There is a single completely conserved residue F that may be functionally important. OSR1 is involved in the signalling cascade which activates Na/K/2Cl cotransporter during osmotic stress. This domain is the C terminal domain of OSR1 which recognises a motif (Arg-Phe-Xaa-Val) on the OSR1-activating protein WNK1.
No pairwise interactions found for the domain OSR1_C

Total Mutations Found: 4
Total Disease Mutations Found: 0
This domain occurred 6 times on human genes (15 proteins).

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
