SNURF/RPN4 protein. This family consists of several mammalian SNRPN upstream reading frame (SNURF) proteins. SNURF or RPF4 is a RING-finger protein and a coregulator of androgen receptor-dependent transcription. It has been suggested that SNURF is involved in the regulation of processes required for late steps of spermatid maturation.
