Telomere length regulation protein. This family is the central conserved 110 amino acid region of a group of proteins called telomere-length regulation or clock abnormal protein-2 which are conserved from plants to humans. The full-length protein regulates telomere length and contributes to silencing of sub-telomeric regions. In vitro the protein binds to telomeric DNA repeats.
