  Domain Name: cyclophilin_SpCYP2_l
cyclophilin_SpCYP2_like: cyclophilin 2-like peptidylprolyl cis- trans isomerase (PPIase) domain similar to Schizosaccharomyces pombe cyp-2. These proteins bind their respective SNW chromatin binding protein in autologous systems, in a CsA independent manner indicating interaction with a surface outside the PPIase active site. SNW proteins play a basic and broad range role in signaling.
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Total Mutations Found: 8
Total Disease Mutations Found: 1
This domain occurred 15 times on human genes (23 proteins).

  OSTEOGENESIS IMPERFECTA, TYPE IX

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
