  Domain Name: HSR1_MMR1
A circularly permuted subfamily of the Ras GTPases. Human HSR1 is localized to the human MHC class I region and is highly homologous to a putative GTP-binding protein, MMR1 from mouse. These proteins represent a new subfamily of GTP-binding proteins that has only eukaryote members. This subfamily shows a circular permutation of the GTPase signature motifs so that the C-terminal strands 5, 6, and 7 (strand 6 contains the G4 box with sequence NKXD) are relocated to the N-terminus.
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Total Mutations Found: 1
Total Disease Mutations Found: 0
This domain occurred 2 times on human genes (2 proteins).

If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
