  Domain Name: Urm1
Urm1-like ubuitin domain. Urm1 (Ubiquitin-Related Modifier1) The Urm1 fold, like those of two closely related proteins MoaD (molybdopterin synthase) and ThiS (sulfur carrier protein), is similar to that of ubiquitin although there is little or no sequence similarity. The C-terminal glycines of Urm1 are conjugated to an E1-like protein Uba4 as part of a novel conjugation system in yeast. The Urm1 fold is found only in eukaryotes.
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Total Mutations Found: 0
Total Disease Mutations Found: 0
This domain occurred 1 times on human genes (4 proteins).

If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
