  Domain Name: MR_like
Mandelate racemase (MR)-like subfamily of the enolase superfamily. Enzymes of this subgroup share three conserved carboxylate ligands for the essential divalent metal ion (usually Mg2+), two aspartates and a glutamate, and conserved catalytic residues, a Lys-X-Lys motif and a conserved histidine-aspartate dyad. Members of the MR subgroup are mandelate racemase, D-glucarate/L-idarate dehydratase (GlucD), D-altronate/D-mannonate dehydratase , D-galactonate dehydratase (GalD) , D-gluconate dehydratase (GlcD), and L-rhamnonate dehydratase (RhamD).
No pairwise interactions are available for this conserved domain.

Tips:
If you've navigated here from a protein, hovering over a position on the weblogo will display the corresponding protein position for that domain position.

The histograms below the weblogo indicate mutations found on the domain. Red is for disease (OMIM) and blue is for SNPs.

Functional Features are displayed as orange boxes under the histograms. You can choose which features are displayed in the box below.
